Finding a Sushi place close to Nuevos Ministerios is not very difficult. I didn’t count them but I think there are at least six. On Saturday I tried to book a table for two and called two of the famous ones. The first didn’t answer my calls and the second was booked out for this evening. More searching was necessary. What I was looking for was a place with at least one good recommendation and in walking distance. I ended up at Maru a Korean and Japanese Restaurant. The recommendation says something about delicious food and a good price for its plates.

We really liked the food and the service is very good. Friendly and fast. As a take-away Maru is really recommendable. The only thing I didn’t like was the tv in the corner running all time on cartoon network. Next time we will get the take-away.

I love Maru! My favorite dish is “bibimbap”, a corean speciality made with rice, veggies and egg. Absolutely delicious, but everything I’ve tried was really good.
