Only 1hour and 20 minutes away from Basel Main Station by train, Strasbourg is the perfect place for half a day trip outside Switzerland. Shopping, culture, mingling around tourists or just using Euros again, I love going to Strasbourg mainly because of its French flair and old buildings.
Wednesdays is fleamarket next to the river with many small stands where you can find curious objects, silver and toys from the past. A typical French tradition.
Don’t miss out on the patisserie, it is amazing and so tasty. Mini pieces from heaven.
The cathedral of Strasbourg is world famous and attracts most of the tourists.
People watching is really nice here on the streets of Strasbourg. The French women especially care about a classic but very chic wardrobe. It is less about fashion trends and more about style.
